What does it mean to design a future that heals, not harms? That question drives this nal course in the Pangea Academy core curriculum. Here, we transcend individual systems—water, power, shelter, food—and look at the design process as a deeply ethical, ecological, and spiritual practice. This module is grounded in the roots of regenerative thought: systems thinking, indigenous wisdom, ancient technologies, and a humble recognition that the Earth is our teacher. It weaves together everything we’ve learned across the past eight courses into a coherent worldview of service-based design. As Chris Pieper shared with us, regenerative design is not something new—it’s a remembering. In that spirit, we look backward and forward at once, holding hands with ancestors and descendants.
